  • Spider-Man Homecoming opened this weekend...to the tune of about $116 Million - Deadline is reporting that the latest installment of the friendly neighborhood wall crawler to hit the big screen is the second largest opening for Sony in the franchise (behind 2007’s Spider-man 3) and the 7th largest opening for Marvel Studios. If you haven’t seen the film yet...seriously what are you doing? You should go watch it right now, and then take a listen to our own review. If you have seen it, sound off below!

  • Panels for San Diego Comic Con’s Hall H have been announced - Posted to the SDCC website, Marvel Studios and Warner Brothers have big plans for the annual geek mega event, no doubt unveiling plans, announcements, and trailers for the respective future of the Marvel and DC cinematic universes. You can read more about the Panel Schedule for SDCC in its entirety at Comic-Con.org.

  • If you’ve been wondering when Robert Downey Jr might hang up the Iron Man helmet for good...you might have a better idea now. - Speaking at length to an Australian News source, the actor who helped kick off the Marvel Cinematic Universe nearly 10 years ago, says that he’ll bow out before things get too awkward. “Everyone says to me it's like a glove that fits so well," RDJ said. "I have to start over every time but I am starting over with a pretty solid base. I just never want to blow it for the last six or seven (MCU movies) I have done by dropping the ball because I decided to go do it one more time. I just want to hang up my jersey before it's embarrassing."
